Last Jan, I was planning to do stories about our friends about playing at OZ for our USA teams, but I was too busy to do earrands for moving the stuff and prepare to move to Singapore. Let s talking about our friends who were playing for USA Deaf Sports. I am going to talking about three people that I know three friends: Betsy Hoerner, Darrin Garnes, and Stefan Bergan.
I know Betsy Hoerner for 9 years. She and I had been working for four years as a co workers. She works for Florida School for Deaf and Blind as a teacher Aide at Special Need of the Elementary School. She played for Woman Soccer team for USA team. Her team won for gold Medals!
I know Darrin Garnes for around 4 years. He is senior at Florida School for Deaf and Blind. he joined football team for his first year as a senior. It was great experence for him. I do remember, he was clumsy for Defense End and Cornerback for football team. I was helping him and his team for two days during football camp. I was explaining him how to do sack, and do secondary for their reading the players and other teams. he was pick up pretty quickly and listened me well. i think, in his fourth games, he was playing on first team on Defense End. he is really faster. bcs he is member of the Track team for FSDB. I like him as a good person and nice person, but sometime, his cousin is pain in the butt for a being mischief in the sport games. haha
I know Stefan Bergan for around 18 years. He and I were in Varity football team in high school at Model Secondary School for the Deaf. He was quarterback and Cornerback. He is really smarter, and know alot of varies the plays on the football field. I never forgot that he threw around 100 - 270 yards in per games during his junior year. He was really an athethic for football, basketball, wresting, baseball and track during his four years of the high school at MSSD. He and I were graduated same year in high school during June 14, 1991. That was 14 years ago! He is member Handball team for USA team.
