Five blood donors who tested Hiv positive when they donated blood last year are charged in court for making false declarations concerning their sexual behavior in the Donor Health Assessment Questionnaaire.(Their donated blood were not used) Four are sentenced to eight months jail, and the fifth man is sentenced to 10 months jail.
The Ministry of Health advised travelers to avoid area with case of avian influencza and also not to handle to eat row or undercooked poultry or eggs. It advised travlers to seek medical help if they have flu-like symptoms. The government oultine it prority.
