Through Deaf Eyes

Hi Singaporean friends,
This TV show was really good and learn a lot of history for the Deaf. I bought the DVD last week. I am planning to shown you at Singpaore Library... I am planning to book at Public Library on July. I will find out more info later.
The film is full of surprises and stories that often reflect unusual experiences. These puzzling events in the lives of Deaf people demonstrate a complex relationship with hearing society. Outstanding themes, underscored through these stories and worthy of discussion, include:

The broad sweep of U. S. history intersecting the experiences of Deaf people.
1)Deaf education’s evolution.
2)The enduring linguistic debate on how to educate deaf children.
3)The creation and expansion of the Deaf cultural community.
4)Technology’s role in promoting significant social change for deaf people.
5)Technology as an agent of change.
6)Deaf leadership and activism.
7)Deaf / deaf self-identity.
